Comic Monsters is posting that Extinction Parade (Max Brooks’ Zombie Vampire crossover comic) will be coming out in June from Avatar. It looks pretty interesting but I have been burned on a shitty vampire/zombie novel before, so I don’t know about this one yet.

Extinction Parade
Avatar Press are going to release an eleven issue run of Extinction Parade. A series based on Max Brooks’ short story by the same title. Brooks who is the writer of such zombie heavyweights as Zombie Survival Guide, and World War Z has put together a tale of humans, zombies, and Vampires all fighting for survival (and presumable two of them are fighting for the same food source).
Avatar who are the publishers of Crossed seem like a perfect fit for the title. Personally the premise seems a bit silly to me (I read a book a few years ago called Roses of Blood on Barbwire Vines that really reinforces that notion), but if anyone is going to pull off this menage a trois of consumption it is going to be Max Brooks.
